Welcome to the FD introductory kettlebell course. In this program you will learn how to properly perform the kettlebell deadlift, squat, press, get up, swing and carry. This program will not only prepare you for the demands of being a firefighter but will also make you more resilient for everyday life. This introductory course consists of 3 separate workout programs (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) and a how-to section explaining each movement. Please complete each program, in order, starting with the Basic. In addition, each program contains a video with fellow firefighters completing the workout. These videos are designed for you to follow along with periodically to become comfortable performing the movements while learning the correct pace. This program is designed to be used as a stand alone routine or combined with your current workout program.  This entire course gives you 22 weeks or close to six months of workouts. Respect the structure, complete it as designed and you will see a gain in muscle mass, endurance, strength and a drop-in body fat.
